By accessing or using government.rest (the "Service"), you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
government.rest provides a web-based platform for inspecting publicly accessible website source code, detecting scripts and third-party trackers, identifying webhook URLs, and performing open-source intelligence (OSINT) lookups using public APIs and data sources. The Service is designed to help security researchers, developers, and privacy-conscious individuals understand what websites do with their data.

We reserve the right to determine, in our sole discretion, what constitutes a violation of this section and to act accordingly, including immediate account suspension or termination.

Certain features require a paid subscription (Plus, Premium, or Heist). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at support@government.rest of any suspected unauthorised use of your account.
Paid plans are activated upon receipt of payment. Refunds are available within 48 hours of purchase if the Service has not been materially used. After that window, all sales are final. The Heist plan is a one-time lifetime licence and is non-transferable.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.
The Service relies on third-party CORS proxy providers, public APIs (including ipinfo.io, Roblox API, Lanyard, and others), and external data sources. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or policies. Your use of data obtained from third-party sources is subject to those services' terms.
All content, design, code, and branding on government.rest is owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without prior written permission.
You retain ownership of any data you input. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your inputs solely for the purpose of delivering the Service to you.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will be accurate, complete, or up to date.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, government.rest and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $10 USD, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless government.rest and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will note the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction, as determined by us.
