Our Mission

The internet is full of sites that run hidden trackers, silently exfiltrate your data, embed secret webhook URLs, and load fingerprinting scripts — all without disclosing it to you. Most people have no way of knowing this is happening.

government.rest exists to change that. We give security researchers, developers, privacy advocates, and curious users a powerful, instant way to inspect any publicly accessible URL and see exactly what it contains — from raw source code to third-party scripts, from hidden iframes to obfuscated Base64 payloads.

No installation. No account required. No data stored. Just answers.

What We Built

The platform ships with a full suite of intelligence tools:

• Source Inspector — syntax-highlighted raw HTML with a multi-tab results view covering meta, links, scripts, suspicious patterns, and webhooks
• Webhook Detection — identifies plain-text and Base64-encoded Discord, Slack, Teams, IFTTT, and custom webhook endpoints
• Suspicious Pattern Scanner — flags eval(), new Function(), hidden iframes, session recorders, cryptominers, fingerprinters, and data exfiltration patterns
• Page Crawler — auto-discovers and crawls up to 3 internal links for a broader site picture
• Social OSINT — real-time lookups for Roblox, Discord, Instagram, and TikTok using public APIs
• IP Intelligence — geolocation, ASN, and org data for any IP address
• HTTP Headers Inspector — surfaces security-relevant response headers from any URL
• CSV Export — one-click export of all crawled page results

Philosophy

We believe transparency is a right, not a privilege. Every web user deserves to know what code is running in their browser, who that code calls home to, and whether their keystrokes are being recorded. We built government.rest on the principle that the best way to protect privacy is to expose what violates it.

We also eat our own dog food. This platform collects the bare minimum to function, stores nothing about your scans, and uses no tracking or advertising scripts. Check our own source with the inspector if you don't believe us.
