End User Licence Agreement

1. Grant of Licence

Subject to your compliance with this EULA and payment of any applicable fees, government.rest grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes.

Free tier users receive a licence restricted to the feature set and rate limits of the free plan. Paid plan users receive a licence corresponding to the features and limits of their purchased plan. The Heist lifetime plan licence is perpetual (subject to continued compliance with this EULA) but not transferable to other individuals or organisations.

2. Restrictions

You may not, and may not permit others to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service's proprietary backend components
• Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the Service
• Sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, assign, or commercially exploit the Service or your access to it without prior written consent
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on the Service
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or the rights of any third party
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service in a manner that exceeds normal human usage patterns or circumvents rate limits, unless you hold a paid plan with explicit API access entitlements
• Frame or mirror any part of the Service on another website or application without written permission

3. Ownership

The Service and all content, software, algorithms, databases, trademarks, and other materials included in or made available through the Service are and remain the exclusive property of government.rest and its licensors. This EULA does not grant you any ownership interest in the Service.

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you submit regarding the Service may be used by us without obligation to you.

4. Updates and Changes

We may update, modify, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time. We may push updates automatically. Updates may add, modify, or remove features. We are not obligated to maintain any specific feature or functionality.

For paid plans, material reductions in core functionality will be communicated by email with reasonable notice.

5. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we expressly disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the Service will meet your requirements
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• Warranties that results obtained through the Service will be accurate or reliable

Detection results, OSINT lookups, and analysis outputs are provided for informational purposes only. They should not be relied upon as legal, security, or professional advice. You are solely responsible for how you interpret and act on results.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall government.rest, its operators, employees, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, data, revenue, goodwill, or business opportunities
• Costs of substitute goods or services
• Damages arising from your reliance on information obtained through the Service
• Damages arising from actions taken by third parties based on your use of the Service

These limitations apply regardless of the theory of liability and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our maximum aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months preceding the claim, or $10 USD, whichever is greater.

7. Termination

This licence is effective until terminated. It will terminate automatically without notice if you breach any term of this EULA or the Terms of Service. Upon termination, you must immediately cease using the Service. Provisions of this EULA that by their nature should survive termination (including warranty disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law) will survive.

We may also terminate or suspend your access at our discretion, including for non-payment of fees, suspected abuse, or inactivity.

8. Export Compliance

You represent that you are not located in a jurisdiction subject to comprehensive trade sanctions and that you are not on any applicable denied-persons or restricted-parties list. You agree to comply with all applicable export control laws in your use of the Service.

9. Governing Law and Disputes

This EULA is governed by applicable law. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this EULA that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to binding arbitration or the jurisdiction of a court of competent jurisdiction. You waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

10. Entire Agreement

This EULA, together with the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and government.rest with respect to the Service and supersedes all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
